Xmas is approaching and it can be a difficult time to decide how to deal with the kids if you’ve separated.
The court’s approach? Is there a reason why they should spend time with both parents?
Invariably from the child’s perspective, they will want to see both parents.
Leaving aside issues of risk, the best Xmas present from the child’s perspective is the freedom to share the period with both parents as fully as possible, albeit in different households.
A child may truly thank their parent if that can happen.
